Kris Kringle 2013

I joined in a group Kris Kringle last year and this is the gift I made to send.   All I knew was that the lady liked purple, so I went with Elegant Eggplant.  I think the box design is called "secret drawer".

The box opens on the diagonal to reveal the three drawers.

which I filled with embellishments from SU -  lovely pearls, rhinestones, buttons and scalloped tulle ribbon.

and of course, a matching card.

Frightening Feline

A last minute run to enter the Dynamic Duo challenge of Tangerine Tango and Black with Halloween thrown in for dessert.

 

 

Not too many ingredients in this one, but they are all Stampin' Up:

Tangerine Tango card; black embossing powder; Frightening Feline stamp; That's the Ticket stamp.

It has just dawned on me that as the front was cut with a framelit die this card is suitable for the challenge at Sunny Creations and Challenges, so I will enter it there as well.

Ticket to ride

Sunny Challenges and Creations have a sketch to use this week along with a background stamp.  The lovely "Feeling Sentimental" stamp set was still on my desk so that is what I have gone with.  I used the large woodgrain stamp on Sahara Sand cardstock and used Island Indigo and Naturals Ivory as well.

Card:  Sahara sand; Naturals Ivory; Island Indigo

Ink:  Baja Breeze; Midnight Muse

Hopefully I have ticked the boxes for this challenge.

There is a new challenge at Seize the Day so since I was playing with some new toys I decided to join in.

 

 

I started with one of the great images from SU Feeling Sentimental ( a free set during Saleabration), but got a bit carried away with the ticketing!!
