The challenge at Just Add Ink is to add a technique that you haven't tried before.
A few days ago while cleaning I found a pile of bubble wrap and remembered reading that someone had made a background with bubble wrap - I didn't even bother to read how they did it because I thought it would be rather messy.
Yes, it was a bit messy, but I am quite happy with the result.
Because the background was quite strong I wanted something simple for the focus and SU Awash with Flowers has now seen ink for the very first time.
All ingredients are SU
Stamps: Awash with Flowers
Card: Midnight Muse; Whisper White
Ink: Midnight Muse; Gumball Green
Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig; Gumball Green ribbon; Round Tab punch
So for me this card has two new techniques and I will be trying both of them again very soon.

What a fabulous technique and a gorgeous card Mary! I love the multi tone bubbles and Awash looks lovely used that way. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink.
This looks great, Mary! A little inky mess when crafting never hurt anyone. :) You've made a beautiful card. Thanks for playing along with us at Just Add Ink this week.
This is so cool - I have to try it too now. I've been think about that lately too - like what things around my house could I use in my card making - this is a great example. I love the way you have embellished it to with your ribbon / sentiment. Chantell JAI
What a great way to make an interesting background, it makes you look around at things in your craft room (house) with a different eye now to see what else you could use like this. Thanks for joining in with our challenge at Just Add Ink and trying something new.
What an awesome idea Mary! And it looks so effective! :)
